Action Figures is a Southern California lifestyle show for the convergent media, bringing athletes, artists and musicians to the beach to talk about what inspires them - and to find out why so many of them truly deserve to be called "superheroes." Guests in the pilot season included: Jessie Billauer, paralyzed in a surfing accident before he founded Life Rolls On; Sarah Reinertsen, the first female leg amputee to complete the Hawaiian Ironman; Misty May-Treanor, three-time Olympic gold medalist and the most succesful beach volleyball player in history; Endless Summer surfer Pat O'Connell and many others. their stories, and the stories of artists and musicians who join host Brent Weber by the beach on the "coastal set" from Dana Point to Huntington Beach, explore the reasons why some athletes really do deserve our admiration - and how we can all be inspired by them. 

 

Currently in future development, Action Figures is uniquely positioned through relationships within the entertainment, sports and action sports communities to become a generation-crossing platform that reaches an active glovbal audience via television, social media and across the web.
