Although I push back at most claims that I am an artist, my friends who create art for a living remind me that there are some folks who have enjoyed my works - and I do appreciate them. Beginning around 2008 I pursued my art nearly full-time while obtaining my Masters degree, and was blessed to have exhibits in the Oklahoma City Civic Center, Stage Center and Beatnix Cafe, while also displaying my work at a few other humble locations. The most popular pieces (Survivor and Surfing Monkeys) have been available in a variety of sizes but mostly on canvas as giclee. My work is digital in nature - beginning with a photograph (or two or twenty) until it becomes something else. Below are just a few examples of my work.

Survivor In any society, moments define time for a people and the bombing of the Murrah Building is forever etched in those who lived in Oklahoma City – and America. Upon moving here a decade after the bombing, I visited the Memorial frequently, and through the seasons, the cold, hopelessness of a stark winter gives way to the exhilaration of spring, the enthusiasm of summer and the reflection of fall, where I find this tree – a symbol of the inner strength of the survivor. Giclee, limited edition canvas	Surfing Monkeys The original snapshot was actually grabbed by my brother Bob backstage during the taping of Action Figures. These odd little ceramic creatures are the staple of the surfer’s doorstep, and we offer each of our guests on the show his/her own commemorative, autographed, surfing monkey as a keepsake (sadly, in lieu of appearance fee). With a Warholian image in my mind, I use some hot pinks and weird colors in creating this canvas digital image.
